Q: 3D Games business model:
A: 3D Games stores specialize in the sale of new and used video games, video
game accessories, systems, dvds and other video game related materials It is
estimated that this is a $30 billion industry in the US now, and with the
new third generation systems like Nintendo Wii, Sony PS3 and Microsoft Xbox
360, it is growing faster than ever before.
Most game stores or big box retailers sell brand new games, accessories and
systems. 3D Games specialize both on new and pre-played merchandise.
Q: Why would people buy used games when they can
get them brand new?
A: 2 reasons;
1) Price
2) You can't find every game brand new.
500+ games are released in the US every year, this is more than 1 game a
day. When you go to any big box retailer you will see that they don't carry
more than 20-30 games per system, so after a few months of the release of a
new title, it will be hard to find that game.
Research shows that 91% of the customers will buy a used copy of a game
instead of new, saving hundreds of dollars every year.
Q: Aren't there game stores selling used games?
A: You can only find 2 stores selling used merchandise. They both are
publicly traded huge corporations, and used merchandise is the most
important part of their business. Let's put it this way if they stop selling
used merchandise today they will go out of business tomorrow.
Q: What we provide:
A: 3D Games provides following:
- State of the art point of sale(POS) system
- 11000 item used games database
- Advertisment and marketing programs.
- Inventory (used and new)
- Display units, posters, demonstration material, marketing tools, POPs
- Gift cards, loyalty card programs
- Discounts on new merchandise through our distributors
- Access to import merchandise that are not available in many stores
The hardest part of running a game store is to keep up with used
merchandise. Used merchandise sells quick but there is no wholesaler where
you can order thousands of it and fill your shelves again. That's where 3D
Games headquarters get in to the picture, we have an extensive network
through our website where we get thousand of games every month and pass it
to our stores.
We also offer a state of the art software which will give you the trade in
prices of every game, this is a web based system and it is being kept up to
date by our employees 24/7. Whenever game prices drop, our software updates
itself so you don't make any mistakes, like paying old trade in prices for a
game that had a price reduction recently. Our software also updates you on
price reduction dates of new releases so you will know when to order. This
way you can get the games from the discounted price.
Q: How do you know how much to pay for trade
ins?
A: By simply scanning the upc code of a game on your POS, our software will
tell you the store credit value and cash value of any merchandise.
Q: Other game retailers have loyalty cards, do
you have anything like that?
A: Yes we do

franchise?
A: $12,500 for each in-line location, and $10,000 for each kiosk location.
Q: Does 3D Games offer multi-unit development opportunities?
A: Yes. 3D Games is actively seeking franchisees who will build multiple
locations over time. To secure the rights to open multiple units in a
specific trade area, you must pay an area development fee equal to $6,250
multiplied by the number of stores to be developed. This $6,250 deposit is
then credited toward the franchise fee for each store developed. For
example, if you purchased the right to develop three in-line units in a
specific trade area, you would be required to pay $18,750 ($6,250 x 3) as
the deposit on three stores, plus $6,250 as the balance of the franchise fee
for the first unit, for a total of $25,000. You would be obligated to pay
the balance on each franchisee fee, or $6,250, for the second store and
$6,250 for the third store, when leases for these locations are executed.

Games store locations. It is the franchisees responsibility to present
potential sites for approval to 3D Games. 3D Games will provide a Site
Approval Package to assist each franchisee in this regard.
